Worldly Phenomenon

The earth is a massive edifice,
Where billions of individuals roam.
It would take endless lifetimes,
For one person to journey around it,
To discover its beginning and its end,
To step foot on every expanse of land,
Cross the vast oceans that lie in between.
With the impossible task of meeting,
Every one of those billions.
Yet, there is a power that rules the earth,
An invincible, mysterious force
That brings two unsuspecting individuals together,
Into a blessed union that fuses two into a whole.
It is a human emotion in itself,
A sensation that the mind cannot seem to fathom,
That questions of the intellect,
May fail to achieve a conclusion to,
However, when the mind rests in the heart
For a special, tangible, exhilarating moment
It can be easily understood…
It is called Love.
